Our second instalment of quartet music by Mendelssohn is now out on Linn Records and all streaming platforms!
It includes Fanny Mendelssohn's only quartet alongside Felix's stormy F minor quartet, written as a response to Fanny's tragic death. The album also features Felix's E minor quartet, Op. 44, No. 2.
We are delighted to have been selected as Continuo Foundation grant recipients again, amongst a number of exciting projects!
This will enable us to take our new programme, 'Beethoven Mixtape', in collaboration with Dr Katy Hamilton and Music in the Round, on the road in 2026, to locations across the country, most of which have limited access to classical music.
